Privacy Policy for Unified Sight, LLC

Unified Sight LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Unified Sight mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.


INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect the following categories of information:

Basic Account Details
- Email Address 
- First Name 
- Last Name 
- Optional Profile Photo (including associated metadata and image URL)

Location Data
- Current GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) 

Collected while the App is in use (foreground), and—if permission is granted—while running in the background.

Trusted Contacts
- Contact Name 
- Phone Number 

Manually added by the user.

Notification Token
- Device push notification token 

Used to send SOS and safety-related notifications to your device.

Subscription / Payment Status
- Purchase identifiers 
- Subscription status 

Provided by platform providers such as Apple and Google, where applicable.

Medical Emergency Information
- Emergency Type (e.g., allergy, heart attack, seizure, diabetic episode)


WHEN WE COLLECT INFORMATION
We collect information at the following times:

Account Details
When you sign in via Apple or Google, or update your profile

Location Data
After you grant location permissions 

Background location is only collected if you explicitly allow “Always” or equivalent access.

Trusted Contacts
When you manually add them within the App 

Notification Token
When you enable push notifications 

Subscription Data
When you subscribe or when platform providers send subscription status updates 


HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use your information as follows:

Location Data
To attach your location to SOS alerts, notify nearby users, display nearby alerts, and convert coordinates into a readable address within the App 

Account Details
To identify you, manage your profile, and display limited profile information where necessary for alerts 

Trusted Contacts
To notify you when your designated trusted contacts activate an alert within the App 

Notification Token
To send SOS alerts, alert cancellations, and alert updates to your device 

Subscription Data
To verify payment status and manage access to paid features 

Medical Emergency Data
To categorize alerts and improve relevance of notifications 


WHO WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION WITH
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with:

Authentication Providers
  - Apple Sign-In 
  - Google Sign-In 

Payment & Subscription Platforms
  - Apple App Store 
  - Google Play Store 

Mapping & Geolocation Services
  - Google Maps / Geocoding APIs 

Other App Users
 When you trigger an SOS alert, nearby users may see: 
  - Alert type 
  - Approximate location or distance 
  - Limited profile details necessary to assist 

Legal Authorities
 When required to comply with applicable laws or legal processes 


HOW YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR INFORMATION
You can control how your information is collected and used:

Location Services
Go to your device settings → Unified Sight → Location → select “Never” to disable location access. To stop background tracking only,
select “While Using” instead of “Always.”

Notifications
Go to your device settings → Unified Sight → Notifications → turn Off. 

Trusted Contacts & Profile
You can edit or remove this information directly within the App.

Log Out
Profile → Log Out. Logging out stops background location tracking associated with your account 

Delete Account
Profile → Delete Account. This removes your account from active use within the App 


DATA RETENTION
We retain information only as long as necessary to:

- Provide and maintain the App 
- Comply with legal obligations 
- Resolve disputes and enforce agreements 

You may request deletion at any time (see below).


DATA SECURITY
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure.


YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
You may:

- Request access to your data 
- Request corrections 
- Request deletion
